The OPALs are a great group of people, ages 55 and older, who are on the go! This ministry touches just about every area of Muir's Chapel: United Methodist Men, United Methodist Women, Sunday school and adult education, you name it.

One OPAL-sponsored program, the Prayer Shawl ministry, is going strong! Please come and visit this fun fellowship on the second Tuesday of each month. The meetings are held in the Louise Feagin classroom at 2:00 p.m.

The shawls that are knitted are distributed to those of our church family who are in need of a little extra comfort during a rough time. This ministry is ever-growing, and many churches participate.
