Dismissal is at 1:00pm. Children have happier times when parents
are on time and unhurried. If you arrive for dismissal before
12:55pm you will find the classroom door closed. Please remain
in the hallway until the doors are opened, and the assistant
will bring your child to you. Should you need your child earlier,
please allow the director to secure your child from his or
her classroom. There will be an overtime charge of $10.00
for every 15 minutes or portion thereof after 1:10pm. Dismissal
is not the time for extended conversations with teachers.
If you would like to schedule a conference, please contact
the office so that we can have the teacher call you.
Bad Weather Schedule
Listen to the radio/TV for instructions on whether or not
we will have school during times of bad weather. WFMY, Channel
2 will list our closings/delays in the event they occur. If
you still have questions on our operating hours, please call
the playschool office and a special recording will advise
you of our operating schedule.
If weather conditions should become bad enough to cause hazardous
driving conditions after your child has arrived at school,
make every attempt to pick him or her up before the roads
become slick. It is not necessary to call the office, use
your best judgment and come while you can still manage to
get home safely. All families will be charged for the first
3 snow days depending on your days enrolled. Families will
not be charged for any days after these three.
